Here's a quick question, do railroads currently use stock cars for transporting

1)  Is the roof/windows one assembly- like the old Rivarossi cars?
2) Are the windows flush - like the new Walthers passenger cars?
3)  How difficult would it be to remove the windows to paint these cars?

I am just getting really interested into model railroads. My father has some
Lionel stuff that has always attracted me as a child but he never got into
the hobby. Any way I am interested in finding Norfolk & Western 611 Steam.
Is this going to cost big dollars or is there plenty out ...

I have a lot of used N-scale Kato Unitrack that I foresee no use for.

I am trying to find my Christmas presents
So far Bachmann 45xx, 20, 37 and Heljan Hymek on the lists - however I won't
get that much so looking for cheapish prices.
Anyone recommend any?

What's the best way to clean Peco track? Obviously a track rubber is
one option but what others do people use?
E.g. Meths, lighter fluid, wet-and-dry paper, emery boards even?

Non railway modeler here looking for Bachmann Coack Trucks (5/7 plant) and
Brake Van (R6077) in GWR livery!!
Ive checked the Bachmann web site and there doesnt seam to anything with
that kind of livery in the current range.
