I just purchased "Digital Command Control  - the comprehensive guide to DCC"
only to find the book has a few pages missing (actually it is a misprint and
the pages are blank).  I tried taking it back but all the books there were
the same. I was wondering if anyone might have this ...

The SP "Overnight" --- questions concerning its cargo and its purpose
1) Might anyone know if the Southern Pacific eventually ran both the
black and the silver boxcars, together, in the same train.
2) If I run a train from hidden staging comprised, exclusively, of SP

Has anybody had any success with DCC in an N gauge layout?

Hey Folks,
As I draw a layout, I am realizing the need to include a DCC programming
track.
Could some of you share some advice on this specific addition to my

I am starting to model the Southern Pacific in the 1970s.  I would
like to get a Southern Pacific U33C.  I know the Atlas model needs a
few corrections to make it right.  I read somewhere that the new (?)
Altas U30C might be a better starting point.  Is that true, and what

I just sold all my AC Marklin loks, and bought my first DC Kato lok, an EMD
sd90/43mac CEFX #123.
To my surprise i find a lot of tiny parts obviously still to be attached to
the lok :-((

I have about 12 Tortoise Slow Motion Switch machine (made by Circuitron) and
was wondering if wiring them to terminal blocks then to a DC power supply would
work?
Also any problems doing this w/DPDT switches?

I have an assortment of stock with Rapido type couplers and I want to
convert them to Microtrains. Choosing the appropriate type is obvious
in most cases, but there are a few I'm unsure of and would welcome
advice. The types in question are:
