About 10 years ago I bought a 4mm scale kit for a 'palbrick' wagon. It was
purchased fron the Crownline stand at a show. Could anyone tell me who
produced it and if its still available? It was mostly etched with a plastic
chassis and I'd love to get hold of a few more.

I've been getting very interested in early NSW railways of late and am
looking at kitbashing a Bachmann tender into something resembling the

The rumours are flying thick and fast regarding the new manufacturer/new
loco announced by Bob in the last AMRM, and I've just heard a new one!
Story is that the new loco was (note was) to have been a 44 class, but
that the project has been abandoned!

The instructios that came with the Life-Like Proto 2000 S-1 says to
remove the body you must unscrew the screws that are in the gas tanks.
There are no screws in the tanks. There is a small screw near the tanks
but after removing it the body does not come. Does anyone know how to

Posted online are various layouts and track plans of various sizes for O,
O27, HO, N, S, G, TT and Standard Gauges.  There are a total of over 400
track plans, all online, at no charge.  Site also has beginner's info,
"getting started" articles, basic manuals, free downloads and ...

...is spelt G-A-U-G-E.  For a model rail group used to talking about various
gauges, it is amazing how often this simple word is spelt incorrectly.
Think "vague" - the "a" and "u" are in the same order as "gauge", and the
words sort of rhyme.

THE largest model railroad show and sale in Michigan is this weekend
(Feb. 14 and 15) at Saline Area High School in Saline, Michigan.
The Ann Arbor Model Railroad Club's show features over 200 vendors with
over 500 tables of new and used scale and tinplate model railroad

I am looking for some really cheap HO scale flat bed,  gondola, wood side
cars and a caboose or two.
They don't have to be in good condition as I am wanting to paint them up in
Christmas colours etc for the train set in my shop window display.
