... I currently have a layout on foam and operate my switches manually. My "switch throws" are actually very big (about the size of a person in n scale!) Any ideas for something more prototypical other than under the table? Thank you..

I have tried to find out the basic dimensions of points available for OO/HO, radius and length. While I did manage to find details for Hornby's offerings, all I could find for Peco's Streamline range was small, medium, large, long or short.

Question: As a child I remember an Army Train that my father used to set up. I believe that it was either an "N" or "O" gauge. One distinctive feature was that the engine had a bubble turret with twin machine guns. Can anyone help me to identify the manufacturer, make, model, etc..

I know that when F3s, F4s, etc. ran ABA or ABBA, the second A unit usually ran in reverse. Were there occassions when the second A unit ran facing forward. Also, when there were just two A units which way did the second unit usually

Not so much of a mystery really but I hope it got ya reading!! I have a bad digital camera. I took a photograph of an HST power car today. I think it's named "Stirlingshire" or something but I wonder if anyone can confirm this and let me know what it's number is? (Poor quality pic.)
