Disposing of much of my N-scale collection on EBay, this week's listings include a lot of New Haven locos that I custom painted myself. Auctions end mostly within the next 24 hours.

| Bachmann N class loco wobbles | 06 Mar 2004 18:56 GMT | 3 |
Hello everybody. I just recieved my mail-ordered Bachmann N class loco...and it wobbles like a duck as it rolls down the track....I can't see an obvious cause...is this a common problem with this paticular loco model that I'll have to live with or is there a fix for it.

| MNP Track cleaning car | 06 Mar 2004 17:35 GMT | 7 |
MNP and Walthers are now selling a "new" motorized track cleaning car. It looks as though there are two horizontal cleaning pads hanging below the car which are motorized (spinning). Has anyone used one of these new gadgets, and do they work as advertised? Or

| Scratchbuilding links? | 06 Mar 2004 13:44 GMT | 5 |
Though I enjoy building from kits, you rarely find high quality suburban housing kits available. I've done DPM and Walthers kits, even copied them from scratch, but that's about it. I'm trying to put together a significant number of houses - a neighborhood.

I'm looking to kit out my Bachmann / Mainline / Dapol Wagon fleet with Kadees. The bachmann ones with NEM pockets were straightforward, #19s being Ideal for me. # 18's would have meant cutting off the ornamental coupling hook to

| Train Wreck | 06 Mar 2004 04:43 GMT | 5 |
Just glimpsed some pictures on the news concerning the storms we saw here in the southwest section of the country. They showed pictures from the air of a train wreck due to washed out roadbed. It looked like a string of automax cars scattered like toy trains. At first I thought they ...

Am I the only one offended by the cartoon in the latest Railfan? Railroad engineers and Teamsters making a railroad pres sign a contract since he is wearing concrete shoes. The bags are labeled Hoffa Cement!
