This weekend I found a local pusher -- er, hobby shop. They are selling Rocco DCC sets, list price $200, asking $120. The sets have an engine w/decoder installed, a power supply, a controller (LocoMaus), an oval of track and some cars.

A friend of mine is looking to power his N scale train from a 12 volt car battery. Anyone know of some where to buy a control that will allow this? I made him one using a LM317 voltage regulator, but it's minimum output is 1.2
