Just received my issue for this month, and what a good point on the letters
page!
What do other people think of applying the 'Epoch' system to Britain? The
letter gave their eras as:

Anybody got any techniques they'd like to share for making curtains for HO
buildings?  I thought of going simple (gluing in bits of construction paper) to
complex (use a digital camera to take a picture of a building and then reducing
the window areas accordingly and printing), but ...

ballasted track. I can't remember what kind of glue it was, and I'm hoping

Many years ago MRJ produced a table of conversion sizes between
Metric, Imperial, BA and drill number. Unfortunately I have lost mine
along the way. does anybody know of a web site with a simillar table?

I recently purchased the Roundhouse 2-8-0 Consolidation kit along with
the Northwest Shore Line regear kit and gear puller. I plan to start
contruction spring 2004. Are there anything problems or issues
concerning this kit that I should know about before I begin

The July 1998 issue of Mainline Modeler has an article called "Cotton Oil
Tank Cars in Texas". You might want to check it out. I ordered it along with

The post on lag bolts/coach screws/threaded inserts got me thinking.
