Santa Fe passenger units08 Apr 2004 23:15 GMT15
I am checking for ATSF passenger cars for my son [who lives a distance
away].  He has a couple of Atlas streamlined cars [parlor and coach].  I see
an Aurora and an Arnhold car on e-Bay.  Can anyone tell me if these would
match his Atlas cars?  The Aurora is a vistadome and the ...

I bought an Athearn Genesis F9A and will be adding a decoder to it.

Baseboards07 Apr 2004 23:54 GMT4
Any suggestions for baseboards ?, my main concern is weight, are there any
alternatives to Sundealea boards (would any fibreboard work if it was
strengthened at regular intervals with 2x1 batons ?) The layout would be
approx 2ft wide by 19ft.
one.railway ?07 Apr 2004 22:57 GMT8
Anyone thought of modelling the new livery for one.Anglia? (see threads in
uk.railway). The cl.90 'Raedwald of East Anglia' seems like it would make a
very good project, but again white text coloured background poses a problem!
Who's gonna be the first to try?
Bachmann Class 20 07 Apr 2004 22:17 GMT3
It arrived today - some first impressions:
- peculiar treatment of the sandpipes which are thick plastic and do not
align with the wheels
- front (non-cab end) steps not lined up with steps on frame
