Anyone know if it's possible to get spares for Mashima Electric Motors ? The

fitted with what looks like a M24-F motor. When I tried running performance
was sluggish so I decided to add some lubricant, some of ...
3 way points28 Apr 2004 22:43 GMT2
I know I recently posted about this, but has anyone got a Peco 3 way point
working on a DCC layout, Insulfrog or Elecrofrog. I keep reading conflicting
reports on their DCC 'friendliness'!.
Thanks.

Paint Marker Pens28 Apr 2004 18:45 GMT4
Just finished reading today's Mremg, and was intrigued by Steve Grantham's
comment about using a paint marker pen in rusty brown to weather track.
Anyone care to shed some light on this? Where to buy? Results etc.

Easements!28 Apr 2004 18:21 GMT18
Argh!  I'm trying to figure out the correct dimensions for a spiral
easement into a 36" radius curve, and the online resources I've found
so far are just giving me math anxiety.
I understand how to bend a stick, all I really need to know is how to

Traction tires28 Apr 2004 15:06 GMT19
Is there any simple way to "make" a traction tire?  I was wondering for
instance if one could carefully paint a thin layer of that rubber paint
stuff that is used on tool handles onto the wheel of a locomotive?  Yes, I
know it sounds crazy, but I can't beileve that the only way to ...

Shunting27 Apr 2004 19:09 GMT17
I have been here before, apologies.
I would really like to get a good slow-running 040T or 060T suitable
for an LNER layout (period not that important right now).  I have the
Hornby J83 and it sucks badly; no amount of tinkering seems to improve
Hornby Zero1 - Master & Slave Controler27 Apr 2004 17:32 GMT2
...which have sat in the garage un-used for a long time. I've long fallen
out of the model railway "scene" so have no idea if there is anyone out
there who would still be interested in these. Anyone?
