Practical layout design19 Apr 2004 02:59 GMT4
Ten years ago I started my second layout, in a purpose-build building. The

Can anyone advise me about H and M controllers please ?  I have just
acquired some old 00 items and amongst them are an H and M Duette, which

Rescuing an 0-4-0?18 Apr 2004 23:07 GMT5
Picked up a Hornby 0-4-0 a couple of years ago at a local auction, because
it had been named 'Hailsham' (my home town).
Since then, it's just sat in a box pending a decision on what to do - I was
originally going to take the plates off and bin the body, but there's only
CTC Switch plates and 3-way switches...18 Apr 2004 19:33 GMT4
I am working on a computerized dispatching system, using simulated two
position CTC switch plates and I have a question.
All switches (turnouts) *except* 3-way have two states: normal and
reverse. 3-way switches have three states.  How is this handled with two
3 way point and DCC18 Apr 2004 18:53 GMT4
Does anyone have any advice on wiring up a Peco 3-way point (electofrog) for
use with DCC. To be honest, I'm struggling to wire it for DC properly and
have just purchased a Lenz DCC compact. I would like to know whether it will
make things harder or easier.
....And DCC Advice18 Apr 2004 14:53 GMT3
Seems fitting the decoders will be easy enough.
What are the groups thoughts on the following?...
I've been offered the Lenz LH100, LV100 and LZ100 in a new condition for
£195 (handheld, command & amp).
Lima RFS Class 20 Quest.18 Apr 2004 14:50 GMT2
Did Lima only produce 1 Class 20 in the RFS livery, no. 2014?
I thought they may have done another to enable them to run in pairs,
although I'm not sure they did actually operate in pairs in the traditional
way when working for CTTG.

Looking for some advice on building a n gauge layout in a large

I went to George's Fine Scale Miniatures web site recently and became
inspired to make a busy street scene. Even though my parts on hand did not
come close to his, I did it anyway. See it on the Home Page now.
