Guys,
I recently photographed measured and made 1/87 scale drawings of the
Texas Midland Station at Rosser built in 1917 and have gathered most of what
I need to build it. The station is of standard size and over all shape for

Out of Here22 May 2004 20:34 GMT2
I am going to take Brian's advice and <PLONK> myself.  I shall not
return under this name or any other.  This group does not offer much
in N scale or much of anything else for that matter.  You all just
like to dig up dirt.

Has anyone heard about the supposed MTH DCC sound unit.  It was supposed
to be released at a train show last weekend but I've heard nothing on any of
the groups.
I'm baaaaaaack!21 May 2004 17:37 GMT2
In building my last layout, (N scale), I started buying box cars,
tankers, cattle cars, etc without a thought to standardization. What a
mish-mash of coupler styles, some not even compatible with the others.
The chance of my retro-fitting operating couplers with my 77 year old
Something you don't see everyday21 May 2004 16:32 GMT43
Group,
I just was outside and saw a B29 fly over at a low altitude.  Very low.
I live in the CA bay area and it appeared to be headed north.
Basic Railroad Design Questions21 May 2004 16:30 GMT17
I'm in the planning stages of my 2nd railroad (which is actually the first
railroad I've planned as my 4x8 ft CN Shelburne Sub just sort of
'happened'), and I need some help. The York, Simcoe & Northern (YS&N) is a
new shortline railroad running on ex-CN trackage from Toronto to ...

USA Great Satan, the Iraqi's were right21 May 2004 05:38 GMT104

at us.  Look at what our troops are doing to the prisoners.  No wonder
they call us that.  And they are right.  We are no better than them.
Rash of new viruses21 May 2004 05:14 GMT21
Busy day today, there seems to be more viruses getting in these days. I keep
telling people to upgrade their AntiVirus definitions regularily.
So far this week I have had to recover 5 systems, not one was protected by
Norton. One had McAfee and the other four had AVP, it is free and ...
