| FA: toy German beer trucks | 09 Jun 2004 00:49 GMT | 2 |
Thought folks on this group might be interested in some mini beer trucks as part of a model train "landscape". If you're the high bidder/buyer on all three I'll throw in a fourth ("Berliner Kindl" pilsner) truck for free.

| Repowering the Lima 38 | 08 Jun 2004 14:26 GMT | 3 |
My Lima 38 runs like a real shitbox and I want to repower it. Anyone done this? I thought of using two spuds or black beetles on the tender bogies but I don't think they are powerful enough to tow a decent train. My layout doesn't have any grades so maybe it would work?

There seems to be far fewer postings on this newsgroup in the last month or so. Is this real, or is there a problem with my ISP / newsreader / firewall?

| Mark Newton & Terry Flynn - why don't you just have a fist fight ? | 08 Jun 2004 06:31 GMT | 42 |
There seem to be many threads here on r.m.r where they seem to just going at it. Why can't adults just get along here. This group should be about model railroading and full of constant bickering between people.

| Topper Tape - what is it? | 08 Jun 2004 04:16 GMT | 10 |
I read in a "how to" article that you can lay track onto Topper Tape. The article says that topper tape is "a material used to insulate pickup truck caps". For those of us not resident in the USA, although I would think we all know
