| Foam Removal | 03 Jun 2004 15:06 GMT | 2 |
Can anyone suggest a means of removing decayed foam packing which has adhered to a model train due to sitting too long in the original packing? This preferably would not involve removal of original paint much less distortion of underlying surface (metal or plastic.

| Different Scale Dimensions & Use | 03 Jun 2004 08:18 GMT | 10 |
So I've been pondering the idea of writing a simple include file for Pov-Ray (www.povray.org for those who are curious) which will allow one to more easily build model train scenes. It serves many purposes, one is that I want to get back into Pov-Ray more, another is the ...

| Blue Pullman | 03 Jun 2004 00:19 GMT | 7 |
Can anyone tell me if I'm dreaming? I'm sure that at the Warley show, perhaps a couple of years ago, I saw a forthcoming model of a Blue Pullman in 4mm scale. I think Fox Transfers may have had something to do with it, but I'm not sure why! I know it wasn't

| Mantua Shifter Driver Replacement | 03 Jun 2004 00:04 GMT | 6 |
I have a very only Mantua 0-4-0 which needs the read driver replaced. The one I have is no longer insulated on one side. Model Power does not have this part. It is part number 25150. When I look other places they list the wheel sets in inches. Is this a 50" wheel?

| Best price for Circuitron Swith machines? | 02 Jun 2004 03:55 GMT | 3 |
Any recommendations for vendors providing the best prices on Circuitron switch machines? I see their prices vary enormously in MR. Also, isn't there also a "clip-on" accessory for attaching wires to the machine without soldering? If so, who provides that?

| Lionel "O" Gauge Trains To Sell | 01 Jun 2004 13:49 GMT | 3 |
I have some old Lionel "O" gauge trains I would like to sell, but I have no idea what they are worth today. In the mid 80's, I several collectors appraise what I have and the average value then was around $1400 USD. I would like to sell the collection as I no longer have an ...

| Rechargable batteries for coach lighting | 01 Jun 2004 12:43 GMT | 6 |
The current issue of AMRM has an article about fitting batteries to power tail lights on brake vans, rail cars etc. but does not go into using rechargable batteries charged from the track power. Has anyone done this? I can't imagine it would be too hard but I wonder how
