MRC throttle knob17 Jun 2004 04:33 GMT3
Can anyone direct me to a source for an MRC throttle knob, the newer type

just had knobs without the handle on them, the better knob was available as
an option.  I don't know if they still are, but I haven't ...

Help for Con-Cor caboose couplers16 Jun 2004 04:37 GMT2
I have two ConCor cabooses that will not stay coupled because the couplers
ride too high in their pockets, higher than the other cars.  Anyone else
have this problem?  Is my only solution shimming the coupler pockets, or is

Atlas/Roco engines15 Jun 2004 22:40 GMT4
Were these made before DCC? I have seen lots of these on eBay, with the
green/yellow boxes, and am wondering if they have DCC sockets or not.
Also, I seem to recall that Roco drives are pretty good, that they were even
used in early Kato's - can anyone clarify this for me?

Quick trip to Melb15 Jun 2004 15:53 GMT5
Decided to take my 2 yr old grandson on a free plane trip before he turns 3
at the end of this month.
Thought a quick one night trip to Melb (from  Syd) would be the shot, with a
trip up the Dandenongs to ride Puffing Billy. Minimum cost as far as
[N] Wheel turning service?15 Jun 2004 06:07 GMT1
I have an Atlas GP-38 that rumbles a bit when slid across
my Atlas code 55 track. I seem to remember someone
offering a service where you'd send the complete loco in
and they'd turn down the flanges a bit for a nominal fee.
