Can anyone tell me if this decoder also has DC capability? The dealer said yes, but it doesn't seem to program for DC. The data sheet does not mention DC. Thanks

| does anyone model big boys???? | 13 Jun 2004 01:14 GMT | 7 |
Does anyone model Big Boys anymore? (HO) I haven't heard nothing about anyone doing them lately. I have 3 Rivarossi one's and they run great. The "weathering" part is the best. TRIX one's are by far the best-but 700 smackers is a bit to high for me. Anyways, let me know if there are ...

| Power Pack Input | 12 Jun 2004 14:36 GMT | 7 |
I have an Aristo Craft Ultima 10A Power Supply. It has an OUTPUT of: 10 AMPS at 18 V DC. I'm considering getting the MRC Prodigy DCC. In it's specifications it says: Input: 16-18 Volts AC or 18-20 volts DC.

I see that Athearn makes CF7 models. How are these as far as detail goes? How well would they run with a P2K GP30 using DC. Thanks, Bruce

| Gluing Foam Board. | 12 Jun 2004 01:46 GMT | 5 |
With all the chat about whether foam board can be used on a layout and whether Liquid Nails would be able to glue it, I decided to find out for myself. I was in LOWE's this morning and I read the label on a tube of LIQUID NAILS that read, 'For gluing foam board'.

| Who owns the tracks? | 11 Jun 2004 20:52 GMT | 13 |
I just moved Garland TX and the railroad tracks pass near my house. When I first got here I was excited because I love watching trains and I get a great show nearly every day. The the first train I saw was Southern Pacific so I just assumed the tracks

Oh dear, forgot to switch identities when posting, did you? After googling on "SirSpank <okcspanker@yahoo.com>", it's clear that your knowledge and experience of deviate behaviour and perversion is VERY extensive. I had to laugh at one of your posts, where you claim that you're not ...

Just a big 'Well Done' to anyone from this group who may have been involved. It was most impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 and a half hour trip from deepest Sussex. Best bit? For me it was the incredible freindliness of everyone, especially

| Film left on diesel after stripping the paint | 11 Jun 2004 13:26 GMT | 3 |
I stripped the paint of a Bachman fp40 diesel by first soaking it in brake fluid and removing most of the paint, then soakong it in isopropyl alchohol and removing the rest of the paint. There is a white film all over the body and I can't strip it off. I've used this method before ...

| Replacement flat wire cable for Lionel equiptment | 11 Jun 2004 12:07 GMT | 4 |
I recently was going thru boxes of old lionel 027 turnouts and uncoupling tracks that are nearly 50 years old and find that the original rubber insulation is crumbling. Are 3 and 4 wire flat replacement cables commercially available at local electrical suppliers? If not, any links ...

| DCC Overseas Systems | 11 Jun 2004 06:05 GMT | 3 |
The most popular DCC systems here in the UK appear to be Lenz, Digitrax and ZTC (in that order?) However, purely out of interest, I wonder if anyone might know what the equivalent- sellers in the US are? I assume that Lenz and Digitrax have a presence (but probably not ZTC)- any
