Well...
After the threads regarding where to find foam in the San Francisco Bay Area
basically turned up not a lot of options, I finally found some.
I went to Bob's Foam Factory in Fremont, CA and they sell the blue stuff.

Well, we finally realized that all along we had been "preaching to the
choir", so to speak. Digital Railroader failed to impress and gain financial
support. Unfortunately, all we were providing was information, and no one
was willing to pay for that.

I received this e-mail message from someone (who may have a broken "Caps
Lock" key) - can anyone help?  I never heard of Model Craftsman, let alone
any hobby magazines from the 20s-30s other than Model Railroader.

news paper that the Elizabethan Model Railway society suffered two fires at
the weekend to their 1969 built wooden clubhouse in Sutton in Ashfield,

There was an Aristo Craft Dairy Queen kit on eBay the other day.  I kind of
half wanted it, so bid a couple of times on it.  As it turns out, the kit
ended up going for $36.01.  Does anyone know if there is any significance to
this kit, or is it just a case of more than one or two ...

I bought a Model Power 4-6-2 Pacific, Union Pacific #2295 with
the Vanderbuilt tender. With a little cutting and grinding I was able
to body mount a MT coupler on the tender frame. Then I installed
a Digitrax DZ-143 decoder. Nice! The pickup wires from the

Alaska Railroad blue and yellow as in the Kato SD70MAC. Any guesses which
Poly Scale colors come the closest? The yellow is rather lemony, and not as
vibrant as you might expect. Reefer Yellow isn't even close - way too
warm...
