| Peco Rail guage | 31 Aug 2004 21:24 GMT | 20 |
I finished laying the track after many months and have been testing it for a few weeks before doing the scenics. I used the Peco railguage for streamline, not the setrack side. There is a couple of tightish turns on a double track section (3rd and 4th

| Kadee Couplers/Curve Radius Question | 31 Aug 2004 04:28 GMT | 118 |
I'm sure this gets asked regularly, so one more time won't hurt.... am considering converting much of my loco fleet (Aussie RTR stuff from Powerline, Lima etc) to Kadee couplers (not because I have a layout at present, but because they look much better on display in the cabinet!),

| Flex Coupling for old PFM Vulcan Duplex | 30 Aug 2004 22:48 GMT | 25 |
Finally satisfied my whim for the PFM Vulcan Duplex at a train show last weekend. As I suspected, it does not run worth a darn. One of the problems is the piece of rubber tube used to couple the motor shaft to the gear tower; the tube has dried out and is too loose on the shafts, ...

| publicly viewed club layout protection | 30 Aug 2004 15:20 GMT | 10 |
I'd like to get some opinions on what other model railroad clubs have done to safely display their layout unattended to the public. What sort of materials have you used, and how well did they work? Was it completely closed off (floor to ceiling) or just a high clear

| Harry Herz | 30 Aug 2004 12:56 GMT | 2 |
Bob Knight had a note in the Micro-Trains Yahoo group that Harry had died suddenly. What a shock and a loss. I'd just talked to him a couple of days ago and had no sense that anything was wrong. Bob has set up the following at the TexNrails site:
