New N-Scale product: Traffic signs01 Oct 2004 00:11 GMT1
I am proud to introduce my latest product:  N-Scale Traffic signs.
Made with 3M reflective sheeting they are proportioned just like the real signs.
Some American signs are available immediately and more will be made later.
If you have a sign you need, I can take special requests to ...
? for Rivarossi Y6B Owner's30 Sep 2004 23:30 GMT1
I have a Y6B with the new drive system that I bought right when they
came out back in the mid 90's.  Today I looked inside the engine at
the motor and noticed it is held onto the chasis weight with "tape".
Did all the reworked (new drive sytem) Y6B's have tape holding the

Lionel #18832 RSD-4 Repair Question30 Sep 2004 16:32 GMT2
Does anyone have a Lionel RSD-4?  I'm repairing one for a friend.  The power
truck was loose.  At the outside end of the plastic power truck frame, a
metal inverted "T" shaped piece of metal has come loose from the plastic
slot it was initially wedged into.  The shank of this metal ...

Brass V&T #26 Question30 Sep 2004 07:13 GMT8
I'm looking around to buy a brass model of an HO V&T #26 4-6-0. I know that
Westside had one that had the motor hanging out of the locomotive cab like
some of my older HOn3 C16s. They ran well but looked funky until the motors
were replaced.  If I get one of these I want to cram ...

So anyway...does anyone know where Rath and Spank are?29 Sep 2004 22:56 GMT9
Back to my original question that launched this great discussion on
politics where is Rathburne and Spanky. It's obvious
johnepperson_6@hotmail.com is not the REAL Spanky so why isn't her
here anymore? And what about ole' Rathburne?
Model people29 Sep 2004 22:39 GMT16
I'm about to embark on a project to super detail several of my coaches. In
my opinion, most models are disappointing since they look good on the
outside but the insides are crude white/grey plastic mouldings. I actually
own a couple of 12 inches to the foot scale coaches and after ...
Great Model Railroads 200529 Sep 2004 21:09 GMT2
I received an ad from kalmbach for Great Model Railroads 2005. One of their
selling points is a new, larger format for the magazine. I think it is a
negative selling point because it won't fit on the shelf with the previous 14
issues I have. It's a small thing, but it's keeping ...
Heritage Steam: Life-Like Canada vs. Life-Like USA 29 Sep 2004 17:36 GMT9
Can anyone tell me why LL Canada's Heritage steam engines are not "painted"
(they use different colors of molded plastic to represent the difference
between the smokebox and the balance of the shell), whereas LL USA engines
have engine black paint on the shell and a couple ...
Onyx Division Photos29 Sep 2004 17:25 GMT6
In June 2004 I was able to visit Walt Huston's Onyx Division N-Scale layout.
Its since been dismantled and will never be displayed again. Anyone who had
the opportunity to see this amazing layout will not soon forget it. It was
last displayed as a local layout during the NMRA July ...
