Gauge automatic roadway systems?  You know, the one with the small metal

Having looked at DCC it is rather expensive for a small begginer's
layout like mine.
Zero One can be got quite cheap now. Anyone had experience with this
and can tell me a little bit about it including its down side?

Just curious. The ATSF "Super Chief" Passenger Train features an F7ABBA
engine consist in the Walther's sales brochure Was there ever a time
when that train could have been powered by an E6ABBA engine consist?

   I've recently had to restore my computer to life after it completely
stuffed up, and so have lost all my URL's. What's the URL for the British
site that reviews new railway models? Something Magazine, perhaps?

I am looking for the older type Hornby points R612/R613 but with nickel
silver track not the earlier steel track.

A project on my workbench will require a adhesive for gluing a white
metal assembly to a cast plaster base.  Has someone had success in making
this type of joint.  The kit is a ancient Alexander pillar crane,
perhaps it would be easier to make a new base of metal and then attempt

There's been a few posts about couplers lately. I noticed no post from
Froggy warning about the evils of glad hands and magnets. Then I got to
thinking its been a while since we have heard from him at all. Bruce

The instructions on Testors #1290 Chrome spray enamel says "Do not overspray
with clear coatings," and "not recommended as base coat for transparent
colors."
Does anyone know the reasons for the warning?
