| My 1st DPM structure | 03 Sep 2004 19:18 GMT | 12 |
I just finished my first HO scale DPM structure - City Cab Co. (http://www.dpmkits.com/images/112b.jpg). I think I did pretty well. I painted and weathered the building. The windows are a bit difficult because they are molded on. Hopefully, I am on my way to some craftsman kits. ...

| State of couplers? (HO) | 03 Sep 2004 04:21 GMT | 5 |
What is the state of HO couplers? When I left the hobby some years ago (5+, maybe closer to 10), the only couplers widely used by modellers were Kadees. Most kits and rollingstock came without couplers or with horn-hook couplers ... remember those? I seem to recall someone announced ...

| Numerical water slide transfers | 02 Sep 2004 09:29 GMT | 7 |
I'm coming to the end of a bit of a marathon kit bashing/customising session and to help finish off I need a fair amount of "numbers" (4mm scale), don't need any logos/coats of arms etc, all I'm after is straightforward numbers in black and white. Had thought of using letraset but ...

| Operating "Named Trains" | 02 Sep 2004 04:47 GMT | 9 |
I was curious how all of you handle "named freight trains" when operating your layout. Or, perhaps, how were they handled in the real world. For example, whether the actual train existed or I have invented it, I
