| Santa Fe branchline station | 27 Sep 2004 02:59 GMT | 4 |
Some time back (in the mid 80s) I built a station from a MR plan. I have since moved several times, and in the process lost both the model and the MRs. I have searched the model train magazine index, and I think the one I

I bought one of these a while ago, and it runs well except over Hornby points. Anyone noticed a similar problem, can you offer any advice or a remedy? It's probably just my dodgy tracklaying:-)

Just been painting a plastic house kit, but paint coverage on large areas is patchy despite two or three coats of enamel. I wonder if primer would make a difference? If so, anyone got any suggestions as to what the best primer to use is?

| ebay slowdown? | 26 Sep 2004 19:15 GMT | 4 |
I am not an ebay regular, but occasionally browse to see what's being sold or to benchmark prices on items I'm appraising or buying or selling. For the last month or so, I've found ebay to be much slower loading than it used to be (I'm still using dial-up), and in particular the HO ...

| How hard is N scale to model? | 25 Sep 2004 22:47 GMT | 13 |
I'm reading this book on N scale modeling by Robert Schleicher, and he says that "N scale is the most difficult of the popular scales to model because it requires much more precision". I'm not doubting the author's opinion, but can anyone offer

| Any Narrow Gaugers here ? | 25 Sep 2004 01:21 GMT | 18 |
I lurk in this a lot , but very seldom post. I enjoy all scales , as long as they're trains , I love'm. Although I have some of everything from Z , Nn3 to G , my primary interest is Hon3 . I also dabble in On30 some. The more I get into the larger scale , the more I like it,

| This is why I want built-in DCC... | 25 Sep 2004 00:13 GMT | 20 |
http://www.electricnose.co.uk/omwb/omwb.html In my case it would be a 170 rather than a 158 but the principle is the same. Not quite the "simple job" certain posters would have us believe is it? (kim)
