I am in the process of building my shunters yard. There will be 11 of sets of points. I am thinking of buying new as most of the track etc I am using is second hand and a bit "iffy" so are the points.

Is there a good straightforward reference on signalling for newbies? My (LNER) layout is nearing competion of the track laying, the points will be electrically operated, and I'd quite like to have at least some signals!
