I want to try my hand at modeling operations and thought I'd start center a new
layout centered around a grain elevator.  Being a city boy, I know absolutely
nothing about them.  Are there any good references out there on the subject?
I'm thinking of a point-to-point operations ...

my collection of these neat items.  What I am mainly interested in are cab
units, you know, E and F units.  If you have any of these or know of anyone

I just saw a movie last night called, "The Station Agent."  It was given "2
Thumbs Up" by Ebert and Roeper.  It was made in 2003.

Seems like it never stops - I ain't complaining (much, where's my HO DM&IR
Yellowstone and On30 Uintah mallet?? - :-)), they seem to deliver on their

My new Spectrum 10 wheeler runs great, but the motor has a
high-pitched whine, even when I use a 9 volt battery to
eliminate the possibility of pulse DC from a power pack

A few years ago I recall seeing a review of some injection moulded parts for
building one of the 'typical' LNWR wooden station buildings. I can't find

Guideline is N Scale/Gauge...if anyone could provide adresses or
