Great Eastern class 32112 Oct 2004 23:45 GMT1
Whilst I'm aware that there is no ready to run class 321 model available,
has anyone any idea where to get hold of a painted driving car? I've got to
get one to present to someone at work, quite urgently!
Thanks,
Big Decision Time12 Oct 2004 22:57 GMT5
I am about to start my first layout in 'n' and am torn between going
continental or staying uk.  On the one hand I fancy continental due to the
lovely Fleischman and Roco ranges, on the other hand I fancy staying UK as
it has more sentimental value.

I just received my Athearn news, and for those of you who don't get that

announcement indicates that they should be in stores by the ...

Hornby Silver Jubilee12 Oct 2004 17:42 GMT24
While reading through this months edition of Model Rail, one of the
advertisers (think it was that mob in Southampton) was selling a Hornby
LNER Silver Jubilee set, plus an expansion kit of three coaches. I
automatically assumed it meant the train set that came out in the 80s,
DCC Extras12 Oct 2004 16:26 GMT29
My query is that I have read that when using DCC it is also necessary to add
additional boosters etc.  Is there any criteria for having x-amount of
boosters per amount of track length?.
Cheers,
Hornby and Lima Spares12 Oct 2004 13:28 GMT2
I have some old (Mid 80's) Hornby and Lima  bits and pieces. I need to get
hold of so few spares before the can be made usable again.
What the best way of getting hold of spare bits?
Thanks
I have an invisible ghost train ! ! !12 Oct 2004 11:41 GMT24
The ghost train terrorizes my model railroad once a month and my other
trains fear the ghost train.
What can I do to destroy the ghost train?

I've just moved and have manage to negotiate 'layout rights' to 8' x
6' -ish of a spare room, but I don't know what to do with it!
My interests in trains are many and varied from 19thC. LCDR to modern UK
via Irish, Japanese and US, plus the MR,GCR (esp. Woodhead), LNWR and

Web Site Update12 Oct 2004 03:37 GMT7
Having been immersed in development and the building of my MRR layout, my
web site has been neglected for almost two years. Of course this meant much
of the HTML programming I learned two years ago was forgotten, the result of
which meant the purchase of  text book to help me ...
