I know my father speant well ovr $15G for it all new. Sadly... he never got a moments joy out of running this stuff, and now it's in the hands of some one who just doesn't appretiate it (but has an idea of what it's worth.)

Just read an article, concerning copyright. That is what UP is using, right? Had to do with Diebold (voting machine makers) but the law would probably apply to UP as well. It's the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Ok, i know i know, but i was new to all of this, and after all, im a male, so common sense doesnt really follow me around ;-) I went out and bought the whole load of track, and thinking i was clever, decided to make my own baseboard....

I'm about to fit DCC to a Mainline 56. Basic wiring seems ok but where I'm puzzled is the lights. There are 2 wires (a red and a green) from each bulb, the red going directly to a motor terminal but the green wires have a weird 'round metal ball' in

I am going through all my locos adjusting the back to backs using the (Gibson?) gauge I got from mainly trains. For those of you who are unfamiliar it is a "L" shaped piece of metal. So far so good, noted improvement over points using DCC.

I am going to buil a gently curving viaduct for my N scale layout and wondered if anyone had dimensions for Ribblehead viaduct. I want to base my model on Ribblehead although I probably won't create an exact replica.
