| NCE Corporation | 05 Oct 2004 08:02 GMT | 6 |
Quick question: Given the smaller size of the NCE corporation, might anyone know how healthy this company is? They remain on my short list of DCC purchase choices, and I am just wondering if there has been any recent news

| Heritage Steam - is it painted or not? | 05 Oct 2004 04:38 GMT | 1 |
OK - I've gotten some conflicting information about whether or not LL USA's Heritage Steam releases are actually painted (as opposed to being molded in appropriate colors, like my 2-8-8-2 that was released in Canada). Can anyone give me the definitive word? Are the 3 USA releases ...

| Mamod Jubilee steam loco | 05 Oct 2004 02:04 GMT | 4 |
I was recently allowed to choose this as a graduation present. The £325 seemed a bit steep, although the extra £100 seems to buy fully reciprocating cylinders with eccentric valve gear and a gas burner unit. One of the other justifications for price was that it's limited edition -

| A Request | 04 Oct 2004 20:18 GMT | 5 |
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Replica Railways BG in Scotrail (Blue Stripe) Colours? I'm also after a lima model of 26001/D5301 'Eastfield' in BR green as repainted in 1993 to commemorate the closure of Eastfield depot. I

| Bachmann Class 47? | 04 Oct 2004 16:41 GMT | 2 |
I find it difficult to believe Bachmann has invested so much in tooling and licensing a Class 57 if they do not also intend to produce a Class 47 using the same chassis. It makes no economic sense. (kim)

Pat Hammond's sight has a colour photo of the Hornby Grange all decked out in BR livery. http://www.mremag.demon.co.uk/hpsite/index.htm I am presuming it is a photo he has taken himself?

I'm building a 3&1/2" live steam model to the design of LBSC of days gone bye. Illustrations show colours as green & red. Can anybody suggest suitable Cherry paint colours. I do not know which companies used these loco's. So far my choices (apple green indian red) by name have been

| Warley? | 04 Oct 2004 11:51 GMT | 25 |
Possibly a bit early, but I believe there is a big model railway show at the NEC in Birmingham in December. Could someone who has details please post a link to a website that covers it as I'd like to go this year?

| Street or Subway Car | 04 Oct 2004 09:51 GMT | 5 |
I'm on the lookout for N Scale Street or Subway cars. The design should be the same as or similar to cars used by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). If anyone here knows the name of a hobby shop, manufacturer or supplier that could provide such, could they post that info here.

| cars from famous layouts | 04 Oct 2004 09:11 GMT | 13 |
Is there any interest in asking companies to make cars from famous layouts? I know it's been done in the past, but I'd love to have a G-D boxcar, a hopper or two from the AM, even an old gon from the V&O or a flat from the F&SM. Anybody else like the idea?
