model trains.  I have some N scale loco's and a caboose or two I would
like to have painted for my own little road.
I tried doing it with Badger modelflex and an airbrush, but got very
Tip for free HO engine and rolling stock cradle26 Oct 2004 00:28 GMT1
I've been using one of the two soft plastic forms
hard drive manufacturers use to pack the product.

Hornby Q125 Oct 2004 21:56 GMT17
While at the hobby shop last night I had a moment of weakness, and
bought a Hornby Q1 in BR livery. I've always thought they were a

Hydrocal for roads???25 Oct 2004 17:01 GMT3
Hi all,
Has anyone else out there experimented with using light weight hydrocal as

Cheers,

Converting Athearn dummy units to powered?24 Oct 2004 22:57 GMT9
Is it possible to convert Athearn dummy units (specifically SW1000 and
SW1500) to powered ones? I'd definitely consider using a third party
product -- it needs to support the addition of a DCC decoder.
Thanks,
