Just wanted to let everyone know that the Digital Railroader Library is
again available online (URL below)...

I have just bought a black shunter number 13029 but I can't find any
reference to this loco. I have looked in a 1951, 1960 and 1963 Combined
volumes plus a 1952, 1961 and 1963 shed allocation book.
Is 13029 a genuine number?

I'm trying to find out how to get hold of Colin Waite etched parts, point
rodding components in particular.  Any contact details, web info, people who
sell his stuff, etc?  Google isn't too helpful here!

Im a beginner, helping my son with his first layout. We're using
Hornby track on hornby foam underlay on plyboard. Yesterday we laid
some ballast. Used 70% water with PVA and wahing up liquid, brushed on
Granite chippings, dropped the solution on, and waited....

A German friend pointed out to me that "N scale" comes from the German
word for 9, since the rails are 9mm apart.  What did the term "Z scale"
come from?  Does it have a meaning, or was it just a random selection?

I need to wire up a GP30 with DCC and need to know how the lights
should function.

Hi all newbie to these rail groups and N Gauge model railways.
Im in need of a hobby im an electronic engineer with interest in simple
control circuits. Im looking to build an operational layout, made up of
shunting yard type.

direct to the public? I am looking for a list of 00 guage kits that they

I need some advice as to what LED's to use in my control panel.  I have 35
Tortoise switch machines on my layout and would prefer to use a bicolor type

quick query about hornby switches, in particular the R044 passing contact
switches. I am planning to use these on my layout I am currently building
for controlling the points (All peco motored), are they any good or are
there anything better out there to use? I like the look of them ...
