Can anyone throw out a few ideas on how one would mount a Tortoise switch machine about the layout table, next to the turnout? Looking at it, it would appear that I would need to mount it on a small block so that the rod could be bent towards the switch. If anyone has pictures ...

Walthers has a very nice model of the 56' Thrall All-Door Box Car. Apparently the prototype was introduced in 1967. Does anyone own one of these? Can you tell me what the build date is of the Weyerhaeuser model? Where could this car be seen in action?
