I have a dumb question, but no one seems to know the answer.  What is the
radius (out-side rail to out-side rail) of the Atlas 027 track?   I want to
replace my Lionel 027 track with something a little more realistic.

Somebody at my club brought along an LT Bachmann pannier that he
bought at the LT Museum. I have just looked on their web site and this
model doesn't appear to be available. Has anybody been there recently
confirm whether they have seen this model or not.

Anyone bought from hattons recently able to confirm they now send
partial numbered receipts by post? or that they are still sending fully
numbered?

I recently had an opportunity to view the most recent release of Life-Like's
Heritage Series 2-8-8-2, and to my chagrin, the smokebox was UNPAINTED GRAY
PLASTIC, just like the first release unit that I had assumed incorrectly was

My son has a Hornby layout consisting of a the three standard radii
The outer track is connected to the middle via R8074/5 Points
The middle track is connected to the Inner via R8072/3 Points

On a previous post I complimented this group and a great bunch of guys
that are willing to help anyone with a model railroad problem. I also
stated that we're lucky that we don't have these, "mental midgets",
who O.T with all kinds of garbage. Well, they started!!

Has anyone given any thought to how we might share hobbyshop information in
a more structured way?  Personally, I'm tired of reading an ad in MR or one
of the other rr magazines then visiting a shop to find only a token
appearance of model railroad merchandise.  Equally frustrating ...
