Peco Jubilee10 Jan 2005 21:44 GMT1
Recently obtained an N Gauge Peco Jubilee in very good condition except
missing a front buffer and the rear coupling is broken.
Can anyone point me in the direction of suitable replacement buffer and
coupling?
Advice on track crossing baseboard joints10 Jan 2005 21:05 GMT6
Due to very limited space I am constructing a small layout for myself and my
son on 3 1200mmx1200mm sheets of 3/4" MDF that will have to sit on the
floor. A friend with carpentry skills has kindly installed metal dowels and
sockets so that the boards push together well and they are ...

Further to the interesting thread on turnout control for a switching
layout, I have used Caboose Industries ground-throws in the past and
been quite happy with them. But the next part of the yard to be built
will have trolley wire overhead. I am not keen to be sticking my hand

Van Sweringen Berkshires from Life-Like Proto 200010 Jan 2005 19:48 GMT10
Until Proto 2000 came out with these 2-8-4 Berkshires, I have never heard
the term "Van Sweringen Berkshires."
This brings up two questions:
1. What is "Van Sweringen"?

Proto 2000 E7 - can we get back to the original question?10 Jan 2005 02:31 GMT8
Well, this topic sure disintegrated quickly... there are a lot more
off-topic responses here than useful ones! Is there anyone else out there
who has a way of dealing with Mars Lights in Proto 2000 E units, in DCC? As
suggested by Cheery Littlebottom, I will probably replace the ...
N Passenger trucks/MTL couplers for ConCor10 Jan 2005 02:22 GMT4

correct for the Con-Cor smoothside UP passenger cars?  From the
pictures, they look like 4-wheel [101718] trucks, but I can't be sure.
