Where can I find some info relating to the gradient used on station platform ramps. Is there a standard ? ... a minimum ?? or was it basically up to the poor sods who laid them at the time ?? Cheers

Its the London toy fair thing today where Bachman release their 2006, opps, 05 range! Any last ditch guesses as to what the two supposed s.r new engines will be? I guess U class and standard 2 -2-6-2!

Does anyone have the cross-reference for NWSL #7142-4 wheel set? It looks like they have replaced their nickel-plated sets with solid nickel-silver. I checked their web site but it is not real usable... lots of .pdf's and no search capability.

Using code 83 HO scale track. Years ago I tried carpenters glue and it held well. But when it came time to break it up, I simply pulled the track and out it came as if nothing were holding it. I wonder, now. Should I make it a more PERMANENT bond to the cork, say, using liquid

I'm curious to know how folks here would go about upgrading these locos to DCC? Is it a matter of swapping out a PCB, like the Genesis locos, or is hardwiring necessary?
