i bought 3 HO scale IHC smooth side passenger coaches. Well, they were
cheap, but the trucks and wheels are for sh**. So does anybody knows
replacement trucks that are prototypically correct?

OK, I have a test setup wired up - Lenz Set 100 (thanks to my wife and a
certain  gentleman in Hull)... I have a programming track and main track
wired up (just a length of flexi each at the moment).
I've chipped-up a Bachmann 25 and a Bachmann 55 - The former works fine,

No one had an answer for my question regarding the coupler pockets on
Bachmann's HO Climax - to me, they seem to have been tacked onto the end
beams instead incorporated into the beams, as I have seen in photos of
Climaxes. If anyone can tell me if Bachmann's implementation is

Athearn has brought out an all new GP35 and also thr GP38-2. Why is the
GP35 more expensive (around $80) than the 38-2 ($70) yet has less
detail than the 38-2?

What roster would you have if you could only ever have 2 different
locomotives and 12 cars?

I dug this set out of the closet today and set it up and the horn does not work.
I tried switching the wires around on the track as per the instructions and
still no luck and yes the switch is in the on position on the bottom of the
engine. HELP what and how to test next?

Is it at the crystal palace show (i think) this weekend Bachamnn announce
their 2005 range, for delivery 2006!
Does that mean catalogues may not be far away, and are they going to give
traders £200 limited edition locos this year, class 66 Binmen livery!!!
