I've got a painted piece of metal with a large blob of superglue on it. I've heard of "de-bonding" agents but I was wondering if they really work? Stripping and repainting is out - the item is powder coated.

I remember the Westerns in maroon and desert sand but not green. How many were green and where were they based. I mainly saw them on the Paddington to Birmingham route but also on occassion visits to Exeter and Paddington. I still can't ever remember seeing a green on.

The days are gone when I bought a whole magazine just to read one article however I am intrigued by the concept of remotoring the Heljan 47. Can someone please explain briefly what was done and why? If there is sufficient justification I might buy the whole magazine. TIA
