Any opinions on the quality of this model? I know it's based on the 03 originally produced in the Mainline days, but what are the running qualities like? Does it have the split chassis arrangement like other Mainline products? What about room for a decoder?

Anyone have the drive shaft for a Genesis F unit the part number is G19252, the part might be used on other Athearn loco's. If you have this part and willing to sell please email me. I have a part coming from Athearn but they said it would take 3 to 4 weeks!!!

Just wondering if anyone knows a good hobby shop that stocks Vollmer.........in particuilar, I am looking for #5624 Container Crane kit. A lot of shops with email facilities, don't even reply. Could get it from Walthers, but I try to use local first.

I've been looking for a pic of one of these locos going round a trainset curve, or in fact any curve, as I'm trying to find out whether the extreme lower end of the body side (the bit that's out on it's own near the buffers) is fixed to the bogie ala Hornby, or to the body ala ...

Can anyone suggest an alternative to Testors "Decal Bonder" product, as this is unavailable locally. I do have an "old" bottle of Microscale "Liquid Decal Film", but I haven't tried it yet . Would normal flat / gloss clear coatings work, or are they not flexible

I once saw posted on this newsgroup a speed table converting prototype speeds to HO scale... 60 MPH prototype equals so many feet covered over so many seconds.in HO. Does anyone have that table at their fingertips?
