I already have a collection of 'OO' gauge locos but have no room for a decent sized layout in this scale, and so I am thinking about getting DCC and creating an 'N' gauge layout, and I have some questions... About the Lenz DCC system and the decoders - I have seen on their website ...

In a dual-lamp E unit with a Mars Light on the top, which would be appropriate to be turned on in forward, and which in reverse? Would it be prototypical to have either lamp on at all times?

I have two Athern Locos I want to add Kadee couplers to. I know I need a 2-32 screw, and a #50 hole. How to get the hole drilled? Which Dremel drill should I get? Or should I use a normal drill, but which bit?

Does anyone know of a web site that lists the numbering changes from GWR loco numbers to BR numbers. I am finding out which of the GWR locos required for my layout are sold under the guise of a BR style and numbering (such as the BR 4MTs from Farish).
