I seem to remember a while ago someone asking about milk tankers running as
part of a mixed or perhaps a pick-up freight. At the time, the consensus was
that this didn't happen. However, I bought a copy of 'Lost Lines-Wales' by
Nigel Welbourn at the weekend- on page 58 is a photo ...

Just laid a road using Woodlands Scenics stuff.. so far so good!
Any one have an idea as to make white lines in the middle of the road?

Does anybody know of a solvent that will clean up Kwik Grip? Despite
careful use of tewwzers, I have left a few rubbery fingerprints on some
scale corrugated iron. I can't rub it off because that would destroy the
detail.

A prominent model shop in the Oxford area overcharged me on an online
order- they neglected to deduct VAT.  This particular model shop  has
been around for a long time and has a secure on-line ordering system.

Hi I want to model (oo or n) the Liss,Hants terminal of the Longmoor
Military Railway. Can I get ready to run models of 'Gordon' & the SR
trains on the Waterloo-Portsmouth line of the '50s & '60s? I am in
western Canada but have some family still in England.

I need a Kato F A unit shell..F3 or F7 doesn't matter. Color scheme
doesn't matter either because I am going to paint it into my home road
colors. Can you help. I have plenty of stuff to trade. MT cars and LL
GP20 shells and so on. Let me know.

From the Railway Observer, October 1947 comes the following interesting

Well after waiting 30 yrs I have gotten my own room for trains. It is not big,
but will do. It is a 9X12 room. I started the bench work and hopefully will be
