Flexible Track11 Apr 2005 17:29 GMT10
I am just about to start on my first permanent layout (all my previous
layouts have had to be portble), and am intending to use flexible

I was just wondering how easy flexi track is to lay and cut to the

Any opinions on the quality, both running and body details of the Bachmann
Spectrum GP35 diesels. How do they compare to Proto 2000, Atlas and Kato
diesels?
Thanks
Simple Hornby servicing/repair advice needed11 Apr 2005 05:53 GMT4
I've got my 00 layout up and running after a year or so dormant, but
have found my locos are a little worse for wear: namely 3 with traction
tyres that have loosened thus giving no traction, and an old style A3
that has lost drive to the wheel altogether.
N-Scale Cowcatcher11 Apr 2005 04:03 GMT1
Hi Group,
where could I buy an N-scale cowcatcher on-line? The one on my loco is

There is a discussion going on at the club I belong to.  Some

Question about scales10 Apr 2005 17:24 GMT3
I am a Scalextric fan - but want to set up a model railway around the
slot car circuit.  I believe Scalextric is 1/32 scales - and I think
'G Gauge' is also 1/32 - but looking on ebay recently some G stuff is
listed as 1/22....
B12 Trouble on points10 Apr 2005 16:11 GMT1
My son has a Hornby B12 that has started to misbehave on points. It stops
momentarily then starts again.  Someone has told me that longer pick ups are
needed.  Could this be the case or could it need a good clean?
Any help appreciated.

Coupler Question09 Apr 2005 17:55 GMT6
I have a Backmann Spectrum 0N03  2-6-0 with a fake fixed coupler in front.
Any ideas on how to remove and replace it with a functioning coupler. I can
take an up close photo if it'll help. Also how can I replace that cock-eyed
bar & pin that connect the tender to the locomotive. ...

I have a number of locos (kit built) that require coaling to complete. What
do you advise as suitable glue or fixative that does not show when I've
finished the coaling?
Thanks for help
