Surprised there hasnt been more discussion here about this. The Results
are now in, and the Rebiult WC/BoB has won, the M7 second, followed by
the Maunsell coaches, King Arthur and the T9.

I will be selling off some of my collection over the next couple of

Just saw that Athearn has some GP-38-2's painted for several roads shown to
be available this summer. The MKT unit is noted as a UP licensed product and
costs about $5.00 more. Looks like the fallen flags require licensing too.
I wonder if all the railroads including the old ...

Has anyone hade any experience with these things. The description on
the MRC webpage is pretty sketchy, and I'm trying to find just what it

Hornby have now sold out of their weathered blue class 31 and are to produce
a further batch with the TOPS number 31174 (in June I believe).  Sadly this
new release will also be weathered.  RRP remains at £89.99.
There is also to be an additional  (1100 pieces limited edition) green ...

Peterborough today, with 56057 "British Fuels" in operation.
Looking absolutley stunning in large-logo blue, here's a few pictures of the

I have a couple of Hornby 110 dmu's and by the sound and running
capabilities of them, I think the motors are well and truly past their
sell-by date. Have made enquiries but complete motors are apparently not
available as spares, so would anyone have a couple laying about they don't
