Exhibition layout for sale.08 May 2005 04:35 GMT1
I have been contacted today by my friend Derek Gelsthorpe, owner, builder
and operator of the well known N Gauge layout "Sutton Junction", which has
worked under the CVMRD banner for the last few years as one of our guest
layouts.
Penn Line Fleishmann NP Passenger Cars08 May 2005 00:45 GMT1

Dead Doctors Railway Special07 May 2005 23:45 GMT28
Did anyone see Dead Doctors (Heartbeat) last night?
Not just old regular 'time-machine' 80135, but shots of the yard, sheds,
6-wheel tanks, a class 24 at speed and.....there was one shot where there

A wagon question07 May 2005 22:17 GMT16
Hello again,
Some will know that I have been slaving away over a new DCC layout that
incorporates a working sand loading system. All went well at the first
exhibition last weekend in Warwick and pictures can be found on the Oakamoor
[O] All Nation and Walthers kits07 May 2005 16:24 GMT13
I've seen old (1950's vintage, I'd guess) O scale wood kits from All Nation,
and similar kits from about the same vintage made by Walthers which look
identical.  Is this just coincidence, or did Walthers and All Nation kits
have a shared history?
web-site up-date07 May 2005 06:13 GMT1
The summer time slack in models is upon us so I put back the page on the
1938 El Capitan. I have been working on a model of this early engine as no
one makes this plain and simple front end type. see it off the home page at;

I spotted a heavy weight car sitting in front of the Summerville Ga
station on Saturday. It is lettered Norfolk Southern and numbered 960053 MW.
It has 6 wheel trucks under it and appears to be a wreck tender possibly. It
has 8 bunks a restroom, shower, cooking facilities, and 10 ...

Hornby tender locos & DCC06 May 2005 09:12 GMT3
One of my customers has just advised me that the twin-forked electrical
connection on the draw bar of Hornby steam locos is a serious potential for
DCC decoder failure caused by short-circuits if the forks become distorted.
Suggestion is to remove the draw bar electrical connectors ...
Pullman Passenger Cars05 May 2005 23:43 GMT1
Mark Newton posted a question about brakes layouts on Pullman Passenger cars
the other day. I just relocated the site
http://home.att.net/~pullmanproject/  where I had found brake diagrams and
Pullman poop. It's a very good place to visit  if your building or bashing a
Dapol class 73.05 May 2005 21:21 GMT17
I heard an interesting conversation on the Dapol stand at the Bristol
show this evening. Some guy made a slightly humorous comment about the
lack of a banger blue class 73 (I immediately thought of Steve Jones
website when I heard this) and the guy representing Dapol basically
