I installed a lexan control panel on hinges attachedto the side of  my
4 x 8 layout. I plan to put racing stripe tape onto the panel, using
the exact configuration of the actual track layout. And, wherever there
is a turnout on the layout, I would like to drill a hole in the

I'm getting sick of cleaning my rails :-( (it's only a small set of
tracks too), and am looking at purchasing a track cleaning car. I know
Hornby do one, but is it (honestly, please) any good, and if not, what
alternatives are there that people can recommend.

A friend has asked me to paint  his  BTK model and all the paints I have (
from Prescion paints) for BR Crimson or "blood" seem to be much more maroon
