I posted a message a couple of weeks ago about the correct sequence for
fitting copper strip at joins in a baseboard. I thought that you could
already buy this in strip form but Maplin only sell the boards.
I could slice it up on a bandsaw but can I buy it as strips and where?

Has anyone come across a web site which lists all the models that Hornby
and Bachmann have produced? I am trying to locate some models in
liveries which arn't currently available, and thought that someone
somewhere must have made a list giving part numbers etc.

   Just to let you all know, Athearn will be producing a re-tooled RS-3
using the MDC model before the end of 2005.  Here is a list of modifications
and upgrades that they are working on for the old unit that was "leaked" to

Does anyone on the group know if any manufacturer makes a bridge similar to
the Whitton iron box girder bridges that span the Nepean River at Penrith
and Menangle, in HO scale.       tia.    mick.

Anyone have any reports on the 2005 convention?? I could not go due to prior

Just took delivery of my new 44's.......very nice.
Now to the task of back dateing them to the golden age of the 1950's. Chop,
fill, paint i can't help myself. I only have one black and white photo of
the no2 end and would like to know if the headlight surround was silver or

them. Railpage has great technical info, but I would like to see more pictures of the
units

Just wondering what most people do to solve this problem. Having laid
the track and pinned it down and now need to fix that copper strip
stuff adjacent to joins in the board. How do you cut out the sleepers
or are you supposed to cut them out before laying the track.

Apologies for getting away from the current political debate on u.r.m.r but
I thought people might like to know that Bachmann have actually confirmed
their intention at this weekend's open event to produce a class 47 in
OO-scale next year.

My father died a couple of months ago, he had a few boxes of model
train track and trains in his attic, from what I know it was from the
1920's or 30's. Where would I best sell it?

Some of us are going on vacation for two weeks. Catching the East Bound for
Chicago at Flagstaff in the morning and then going to the Big Lake in the
