I posted a message a couple of weeks ago about the correct sequence for fitting copper strip at joins in a baseboard. I thought that you could already buy this in strip form but Maplin only sell the boards. I could slice it up on a bandsaw but can I buy it as strips and where?

Has anyone come across a web site which lists all the models that Hornby and Bachmann have produced? I am trying to locate some models in liveries which arn't currently available, and thought that someone somewhere must have made a list giving part numbers etc.

Just wondering what most people do to solve this problem. Having laid the track and pinned it down and now need to fix that copper strip stuff adjacent to joins in the board. How do you cut out the sleepers or are you supposed to cut them out before laying the track.
