Newcastle Exhibition again.01 Sep 2005 00:41 GMT1
I wasnt the only one to observe that it was a bit naughty (all right, I'll
come right out with it and say "misleading") of the Trainorama mob to
display prominent SPECIAL! signs on their 44's which were selling at the
catalogue price.
Hydraulic Buffers31 Aug 2005 20:28 GMT15
Does anyone know of any Hydraulic style buffer model; like but not the Hornby model?  The Hornby model is basically the type that I want, but it looks too fake and plasticy - so wondered if anyone else made one

Hornby 'Anzac' Britannia Class 4-6-2 Loco31 Aug 2005 09:56 GMT7
Just curious-
The photos I've seen of this loco look nice, and it is supposed to be
DCC ready, but is the model up to current standards?
Does it have a decent motor, accurate detailing, etc.

My no1 son wants a trip on an HST tomorrow from York.
1. What's the shortest trip I can do without wasting too much time for a
return? Doncaster or Northallerton?
2. What would the York-Donny trains be? HST or 91 - or either?

Stewart Alco 630 Drive shaft problems30 Aug 2005 05:53 GMT1
The ends have broken off the drive shafts of my Stewart Models C630's. Is
this a design defect? The little plastic ball at the end of the shafts has
split and now the locos don't work. Is this a known issue?

Hello,
