| Lost diesel at Barry scrapyard | 20 Sep 2005 14:36 GMT | 22 |
According to 'the Barry List' 4th Edition (published 1979 I think) there had been a diesel loco number D8026 broken up in 1970. It is described as a 'type 1' Bo-Bo. Googling for this loco has proved inconclusive. The loco is not mentioned in

With the new venue this year, will AMRA be imposing any rules about photography? Now that I actually have a digital camera it's possible to capture images of the event. Craig.

| Diamond Scale Turntable - rail powering | 20 Sep 2005 01:43 GMT | 9 |
I am building a diamond scale steel truss turntable in HO, and I am looking for opinions on how to best power the turntable rails. I will be using a stepper motor (NYRS)to turn it. It seems to me that using the pit rail and the arch may be a bit "iffy" for reliability. What do

Hi all, My son has a Hornby Virgin cl86 loco. Unfortunately he hs broken off a small piece of the bodywork which holds the pantograph in place . It is/was attached on the top of the body and stopped the arm from sliding off of the bar (if that makes sense)

| DCC Questions?? - NCE Power Cab?? | 19 Sep 2005 21:21 GMT | 11 |

| Which DCC Chip? | 18 Sep 2005 18:00 GMT | 2 |
I have been happily chipping locos this afternoon, but have had trouble with a Hornby one. I put a LE1000 "Mac Coder" into a new Battle of Britain pacific and another into a new Merchant Navy and they work really well, nice slow speed and good control.
