Hi again all I am wanting to compile a train that has a couple of heavyweight well wagons, with WW1 Tanks as loads, basically on their way to preservation (yes, I am still on that kick). Apparently Airfix made these Tanks in 1/72

Anyone know what happened to Mike's Models? You know the outfit I mean - they used to produced exquisite white metal kits of railway paraphernalia such as water cranes, gas lamps, fire devils etc.. Not been able to find any trace of them in recent years.

I have an 00 gauge Triang Railways Diesels, set of two engines one with power the other a dummy. They are in blue and yellow trim and very American looking. The only information on the engines is made in Britain and a running number 5007, I have done a Google with no luck.

Anyone found anything that can be used to lash down military vehicles onto a Warwell/warflat? They use strops made of a nylon like material with a ratchet tensioner in real life, but I've not seen a 00 equivalent.

I've been experimenting, and I came up with some strange results relating to loco speeds. As a result I decided to figure out what voltage is getting to my locos. So I took a few readings with my digital multimeter set to one of the DC voltmeter scales.

I'm getting ready to flock some terrain, I was going to buy some of those 64 oz. jars of ground foam. Can anyone with some experience tell me approximately how many square feet one of those 64 ounce jars will cover? I need to know how many to get. I want to use mainly fine

How do I go about using DCC for points? I assume that if I have a DCC layout I don't need to have a control panel with switches but use a decoder for points then control these from the DCC controller via the bus.
