I have been waiting for a green cl 40 with indicator discs to be
released which my dealer now has but he complained that they were very
noisy. I was in too much of a hurry to actually hear one run but is
this general of all cl 40's or just those recently released or maybe a

I bought a candy dancer car from bright models. It has a multiple pin
connector for electric. I have an LGB layout. 1) Can I convert this to
battery power, or 2) can I convert it to track power? Thanks in

I am looking for a supplier of auto couplings to fit onto Farish N gauge, I
have tried the Peco system, not very good.

hey guys,
been while since I joined. I just made a major score of track, switches
& scenery. Approx $1800 worth of stuff for about $0.15 on the
dollar....right place at the right time.

 I check every now and then to see if anyone or company down under
offers the Pilbara cab in HO scale to model some of the Hamersley Iron
engines. Maybe as a resin kit or something. Thanks.

I picked up an English (HO?) train platform/station.  The only markings
are "A merit plastic product" and "J.& L.R. Limited" and "Made in
Emgland".  It is an island platform with T canapy supports  coming from

On page 53, there's a nice looking RS3 in the SP "Black Widow" scheme. Does
anyone know if there's a plastic version available in HO scale? I have not
found one in my search.

Well it is very easy to find an extremely large number of details.  However
they dont tell me what they fit?

Yes John of 53a models has knowledge, but enter his shop and he is
absent, his wife handles the shop.  So before you buy from him think, I
live in Hull but use Hattons or M. G. Sharp. That says it all

There's a suggestion in this months Model Rail about using a
conductive strap as a ring main with points wires being soldered to
it. This sounds infinitely better than messing around with connector
blocks but i'm struggling to find a source for this stuff ...
