Well I did it. Got me the mallard set.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Mississippi River was used by the
railroad(s) [in the 1950's time period] for train car crossings by way
of barges. Or, did they rely solely on bridges.

What's the best method of connecting tracks between removable
sections? I'd thought about bending the track connectors so that the
top part was bent up. This would make it a U-shaped connector, so that
the track can lift up, but not move from side to side.  Or is there a

Did Lima ever produce their 101s in Blue/Grey livery? I believe i read
somewhere that they did but i can't find one anywhere, which is leading
me to wonder if i imagined it.

Models caught my eye, but I'm not familiar with the company.  The loco will
have a "LokSound" sound system.
