I have just returned from a few days away where I have had time to study
Iain Rice's book on finescale track construction in some detail
I have a couple of projects on the boil at the club and I am seriously
considering doing one of them in OO finescale but for reasons too difficult

I was looking through my old model railroad items and found a kit by the
name of Bret's Brewery. The kit looks like it would not be for a novice
(like me). anyone out there ever assembled this kit?

Just got mine set up and it appears to be going pretty slow.  No faster
then any other trains I have seen on the spectrum transformer I need to
put it up to 50% power to even get it to move?  Is this normal?  I know
people said if you use a different transformer it can make it go

I just bought some NCE Switch-Its to start automating my Tortoises. I
noticed that the factory default is CV548 and CV549 are set to 0 which
causes push buttons 1 and 4 toggle outputs A and B, buttons 2 and 3 are
ignored.
