GE Little Joe colors24 Dec 2005 09:23 GMT14
In 1949 the Milwaukee Road tested a GE electric locomotive for three
months on their Coast and Rocky Mountain divisions.  This demonstrator was
numbered GE750 and was painted olive green with a white stripe.  I have
several photos of this locomotive but they are in black and white.  ...

Another building finished for my layout project23 Dec 2005 22:54 GMT12
Going to bore with more stuff about my layout project I'm afraid! ;)
Finished another building. This time it's a modern industrial unit from
Kestrel. I tried out the drybrushing technique on it and, while it might not be
fantastic, for a first attempt I don't think it's too bad and ...

roadbed from sawcut wood strips covered with sandpaper but I'm
Cromptons (with slightly flat roofs)23 Dec 2005 21:13 GMT2
Hmm, just got the Heljan Crompton 33 004 in DCE livery, and one of the first
things I noticed was the slightly flattened appearance to the roof. Having
seen these almost every day in my 'yoof' as 33/1s hauling services between
Bournemouth and Weymouth, I believe I have a ...

Are there high quality DVDs or Videos of Layouts?22 Dec 2005 23:35 GMT25

Card Modelling22 Dec 2005 23:04 GMT17
I've been doing some slicing on the night shifts and come up with a good

perfectly to scale as it was made from the card that comes as the backing to
many a lined note pad that we have at work, but it was ...

I have a ~3 x 6 foot oval of RealTrax.  There seems to be a power spike on
