Jerky movement on Athearn Genesis F7 "B" unit20 Dec 2005 04:06 GMT2
Hi, I have a set of athearn gensis F7 A&B units. The "A" unit works
fine, but I find at very slow speeds the "B" unit tends to go normal
speed, then slow, then normal, then slow.
This only happens on the lowest speed settings (I'm using DCC). I

Help removing trucks lionel19 Dec 2005 15:44 GMT3
Can anyone recommend a method for removing the trucks from a postwar Lionel
log car?  I need to remove the trucks to resolder a wire.  They are held on

Ok, so thanks to the valuable input from the fine people on this group, I've
decided to have a go at a larger layout.  I've been tinkering with layout
plans and I just can't seem to come up with something I like.  As such, I've
provided a link to my bench size/shape and ask ...

Thanks!
Wobbling Lionmaster19 Dec 2005 01:30 GMT2
We just got a Lionel Lionmaster J3A Hudson 4-6-4, produced
in 2003 but in factory condition.  It looks and runs great, except
for one thing: as it's moving, especially at higher speeds, the
engine body rocks up and down on the sides, sort of a wobbling

digital camera question?18 Dec 2005 12:43 GMT38
When ever I go into a camera store and ask the geek squad about "depth of

I need a better digital camera. How many mega pixals.  Are any special
lenses required for better depth of field?
